Satan has a very strong hold on the young people of the world today with rock music. I was at that point at one time in my life. I was addicted to listening to hard rock bands such as KISS, Motley Crue, Aerosmith, Def Leopard and others.  Once you are addicted to it, it is very difficult to keep from listening to it. The only thing you want to do is listen to that constant drumbeat, absorbing it into your head and you do not want to do anything else but listen to it. You constantly keep to yourself, cutting yourself off from your family, friends and church members. At the very last, you cut yourself off from God and them you end you own life. Please. Take my advice, stay away from all forms of rock music and do not get trapped in it like I did. There is much more to life then trying to live up to that kind of lifestyle.

Fill your mind with things of God instead, listen to Godly Christian music, read your bible, pray to God, attend church each week, seek Christian friends and move to a better living environment. If you are unable to move to a better living environment, try buying some noise-canceling headphones (and you don't even have to listen to anything with them on!), some ear plugs or try soundproofing your room.The music business today is trying to make all these rock musicians look like role models, tying to convince the public since they are drug free and rock music is a clean business, but the music they play only encourage it even more. Drug use is widely known and encouraged in the music business. They try to convince you believe there is "good" rock music, but there is no rock music that is ever "good". The Mental Health Association has encouraged their patients for years to listen to rock music to drive their personal demons away, but let me tell you from personal experience it just brings the demons right in. Studies have shown when you listen you rock music, it slowly destroys your brain cells and using all kinds of illegal drugs also has the exact same effect. I am very blessed never to have fallen into the area of drug use when I listened to rock music. Jesus is the only role model we should ever have, the closer we stay to God, the father away Satan is. 

Do you know where the term "Rock Music" came from? The term came from the small white clumps of the illegal drug and people who used it said it looked like little "Rocks".  It was introduced into the music business in the late 1960's. I bet you didn't know that!
